Will the end of the world involve an alien invasion?

No. According to the Bible, there is nothing there about an alien invasion. You can read more about End of Times in other posts, and there is nothing to indicate an alien invasion. So, if you've watched Stranger Things or other shows like that, then no, our world will not end with an invasion of the type hinted at there.

However, there is one particular area which could suggest the presence of a single alien entity (as opposed to an invasion). This is the emergence of a new ruler at the End of Days as written in Revelation; one which tries to make it compulsory to have the Mark of the Beast on all humans. Read here for why you must never, ever, agree to receive the mark of the beast, no matter how tempted you may be.

Where does the possibility of an alien come in? It's because this leader is succeeded by second leader, whose identity not made completely clear in the Bible. Let's see what Revelation has to say about this:

Then I saw another beast that rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and it makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed. It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of all; and by the signs that it is allowed to perform on behalf of the beast, it deceives the inhabitants of earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet lived; and it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast could even speak and cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Revelation 13: 11-15

Most likely, this second leader (a beast) is a human or a group of humans, influenced by demonic forces. However, the passage above does not specify the exact identity of the beast, and it remains possible the beast is an alien. In support of that, the leader (or beast - I am using the terms interchangeably here) clearly has gotten hold of advanced technology. This technology even allows fire to come from the skies to the earth, and also creates a lifelike effect to the image of the first beast. The very fact that both of these leaders are called beasts suggests they do not appear human to our eyes. They could be robots, or they could be humans disguised as something else, or they could in fact be aliens.

So, the End of Days described in Revelation does not exclude the possibility of an alien ruler (the second beast). But remember, even if that was the case, it does not mean that we will definitely have an alien invasion via groups of aliens. If there was to be an invasion of beasts (or of other alien entities), this would surely have been described in Revelation. The images of the happenings at End of Days were given by God in a very unshuttered way to John of Patmos. An alien invasion would have shown a war among men and beasts, yet this is not written anywhere in the Bible.

I am not saying that the nature of the two beasts are definitely alien; I am just saying it is possible that they are. They may alternatively be human, robots, or humans disguised as something else. The beasts are certainly influenced in some way by demonic powers, as evidenced in other parts of that chapter of Revelation.

Ultimately, whether the beasts ruling the world at the End of Days are alien or not, the end of the world does not involve an actual invasion of multiple alien entities.
